This Abandoned Home was built in 1860 and was once owned by a dentist and his wife, who was a nurse. The husband and wife purchased the home in the 1950’s after moving from Russia, and the dentist ran a successful business out of their home for over 30 years. On top of this, the husband and wife hosted a radio station which played Russian music, and they used it to speak on the dentists’ opinions regarding healthcare. Eventually, the dentist passed away in 1999, and his widow moved out of their large home, leaving it abandoned with their old radio equipment, dental equipment, and personal belongings left inside to rot along with the historic house. The future of this incredible home seems unfortunately dim as the condition continues to become far worse due to natural decay from water damage, and lack of care. Squtters have made their way inside parts of the home for shelter, also claiming the backyard as their own. This house will likely sit abandoned until it’s future demolition.
